“Tell these black kids they could be who they are. Dye your hair blue, shit, I'll do it too.” - Tyler, The Creator ‘Where This Flower Blooms’ — Yes. I’m still in my Tyler, The Creator bag. I light-weight think he’s a creative genius. And he’s making it safe to be black and weird, which is something I celebrate. Why do we alienate black weirdos? We often tell them they can’t sit at the big table at the family reunion. That’s wrong. Other races celebrate their weirdos because they know that weird people do BIG things and change the world. So, tell these black kids they could be who they are.

Some AI News to Think About
What is an AI Agent? Everyone’s building one. Almost nobody can define one.
Everyone’s talking about AI agents, but the definition is still fuzzy. In simple terms, an AI agent is software that doesn’t just answer questions—it takes actions on your behalf. Instead of asking for advice and doing the work yourself, the agent can research, plan, send emails, build documents, or run workflows automatically.
The upside is huge. AI agents could act like digital assistants that help people start businesses, manage finances, organize projects, and compete with larger companies that normally have big teams. For communities that have historically had less access to capital or staffing, that kind of leverage could be powerful.
The downside is confusion and hype. Many companies label basic chatbots as “agents,” and people may trust systems that still make mistakes or lack accountability. There’s also the risk that companies deploy agents to replace workers rather than empower them.
For Black professionals and entrepreneurs, understanding AI agents early could mean the difference between being replaced by automation or using it as a tool for ownership, efficiency, and scale.
